In September, 99 new companies were granted resident status at IT Park, as reported by the technopark's press service.

Among these, 29 enterprises were established with foreign capital involvement, including investors from the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Singapore, and Malaysia. 22 companies are focused on software development, while 19 are engaged in outsourcing.

Two-thirds of the new residents, or 66 companies, are export-oriented. According to their business plans, they aim to employ over 700 local specialists in the coming year.

Interest in Uzbekistan's IT sector continues to grow from countries in the Asia-Pacific region. For instance, Singapore's BIPO Services Silk Road is opening an office to provide outsourcing IT services with an annual investment of $1 million.

The Malaysian company SummitNext plans to establish a division in Uzbekistan with 110 employees, which will also focus on outsourcing. The key markets for their services include the USA, Germany, and India, with an estimated export volume of $1 million.

The total number of export-oriented residents has now reached 936. Currently, there are 574 enterprises with foreign participation in IT Park.

As of October 1, a requirement came into effect for IT Park residents with an annual revenue of over 100 billion soums to ensure at least 10% of their income comes from exports. By 2026, this minimum threshold will increase to 20%, and by 2027, to 35%.
