The MicroMentor platform has launched in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. Spot was informed about this by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is a partner in the project.
Entrepreneurs will be able to find mentors on the platform for strategy, finance, marketing, human resources, and other issues. Additionally, MicroMentor allows interaction with business professionals from other countries to exchange experiences and grow their businesses.
Participants who register as mentors will have the opportunity to share knowledge, enhance their personal brand, and build business connections within the community. Mentees will be able to communicate concurrently with multiple mentors from various fields and countries.
Currently, MicroMentor operates in 178 countries worldwide and has over 400,000 users. Specifically, around 1,000 mentors and mentees from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are already registered on the platform.
“We invite Uzbek women entrepreneurs to become mentors on MicroMentor. Your experience and knowledge are valuable assets for the community, and we are confident that your support will significantly contribute to the development of women entrepreneurship in Central Asia. For you, MicroMentor is an opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs in Central Asia and build a network of useful contacts,” noted MicroMentor EBRD operator Aruna Amzaeva.
You can register on MicroMentor here (for mentees) or here (for mentors). The use of the platform is completely free.
Previously, Spot reported that "Uzkimyosanoat" and the EBRD signed an agreement to finance a hydrogen project in Chirchik.
