Prior to this, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board for Economics and Finance at RES.
In his new role, he succeeded Ulughbek Mustafaev, who was appointed as the acting governor of the Jizzakh region. Mustafaev had been leading "RES" since 2019, and before that, he was in charge of "Uzbekenergo" from 2017.
