A Saudi company is investing in vocational education in Uzbekistan.

A meeting took place between representatives of the Ministry for Poverty Reduction and Employment and a delegation led by Muhammad Al-Fassam, the director of the Saudi company Al Arkkan.

The creation of a specialized institution for the retraining of nurses wishing to work in Saudi Arabia and their language training was also discussed.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to implement a pilot project for organizing training courses aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in food safety and tourism for employees of hotels and restaurants in Tashkent.

The delegation of specialists from Al Arkkan was introduced to the activities of the capital's centers for professional skills.

Al Arkkan Training Center is the first specialized educational company in the Kingdom, offering programs on food safety and health protection for employees of restaurants, supermarkets, beauty salons, and barbershops.

The company commenced its operations in 2009 in the cities of Dammam, Jeddah, and Mecca. It holds several international accreditations, including the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), ISO 9001, and IAS 17024.
