The structure of "Uzzheldorpass" lost its appeal in a case concerning violations of pricing policy.

The appellate court has rejected the appeal from the company "Shakhar Atrofida Yulovchi Tashish," which is part of the "Uztemiryulylovchi" group, regarding the decision made by the Competition Policy Committee, according to the oversight authority.
Структура «Узжелдорпасса» не смогла выиграть апелляцию по делу о нарушении ценовой политики.

“Shakhar Atrofida Yulovchi Tashish” contested the decision of the Committee in the Tashkent City Administrative Court. However, the court upheld the ruling. Dissatisfied with this outcome, the company filed an appeal.

On December 2, the appellate judicial panel supported both previous decisions, as emphasized by the Committee.

According to the supervisory authority, in 2023, “Uzjeldorpass” sold 606,380 tickets in the Fergana region with violations, resulting in an illegal revenue of 660 million soms for the company. Additionally, the suburban transportation structure collected 560 million soms above the norm for 185,806 tickets sold from the beginning of the year until July 24.

“Uzjeldorpass” commented on the decision, stating that the fares on the Kokand — Margilan — Andijan route are 2.5 times lower than the cost of the trip. The ticket prices were approved by the local branch of the company in conjunction with the regional finance department, while the commission fee was set independently.
