In 2019, 5 trains (20 cars) were acquired, in 2021 — 10 trains (40 cars), and in 2024 — 14 trains (56 cars). Thus, the total number of rolling stock for the metro will reach 78 trains (313 cars).
From 2017 to 2024, the length of the Tashkent metro lines increased from 38 to 70.8 kilometers, and the number of stations grew from 29 to 50. In March 2024, as part of the second phase of the above-ground ring line construction project, a section of "Қурувчилар-Қипчоқ" was put into operation, measuring 3.6 km and comprising two stations.
As a result, while the average daily passenger count was 375,000 in 2022, this figure rose to 1 million passengers per day in 2024.
