Residents of Tashkent saved 1.8 billion sums through cashless payments on buses.

Thanks to the introduction of cashless payments in public transport, residents of Tashkent have saved 1.8 billion sums. This was announced by the director of ATTO, Davron Shoekubov.

Mirakbar Ikramov, the head of the Main Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure in Tashkent, noted that the cashless payment system will not only enhance the transparency of revenues from passenger transport but will also aid in optimizing routes through the analysis of passenger flow.

Residents and visitors of the capital were reminded that travel can be paid for using Visa, Mastercard, ATTO, Humo, and other payment systems.

Starting from January 2025, cash payments for travel will be completely prohibited in Tashkent, encouraging a shift towards modern and convenient payment methods.
