59-летняя пенсионерка из Канады вошла в Книгу рекордов, выполнив свыше 1500 отжиманий.

59-year-old Canadian Donna Jean Wild has set a new record by completing 1,575 push-ups in one hour, once again earning a spot in the Guinness World Records. Previously, she held the record for the longest plank hold — 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 11 seconds. This information was published on the official Guinness website.

To establish her new record, Wild performed push-ups according to strict standards: at the lowest point, her arms bent at a 90-degree angle, and at the highest point, they were fully extended. According to Donna, the secret to her success lies in the training she began before her first record. At that time, she did 500 push-ups daily, and then she decided to replicate her success with a different exercise.

The retiree recorded her achievement in a nursing home, where she was supported by 11 of her 12 grandchildren, who counted the push-ups loudly and cheered her on.

Donna Jean has been actively involved in sports her entire life and believes that a healthy lifestyle allows one to remain energetic and face aging with dignity.
