The famous mansion from the movie "Home Alone" has been sold in the American state of Illinois. The new owner acquired it for $5.5 million, reports TMZ.
The house is located in the village of Winnetka and was listed for sale in May 2024 with an initial price of $5.25 million, which later increased.
The previous owners purchased the mansion in 2012 for $1.5 million and undertook a major renovation. Despite the changes, they preserved the building's exterior as seen in the film. Interestingly, no filming took place inside the house, as the rooms were too cramped for the crew. The house now features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a home theater, and a sports court.
