The city of Naryn in Kyrgyzstan has provided residents with free Wi-Fi. Naryn has become the first city in the CIS to ensure complete coverage of free internet in public spaces.
As part of the "Smart-Naryn-24" project, high-speed internet is available in parks, schools, libraries, museums, the market, squares, and hospitals throughout the city.
This project has been implemented through collaboration between the Central Asian University, "Sky Mobile," "Skynet Telecom," and the Naryn city administration, with the support of the presidential representative in the Naryn region, A. Ergeshov.
The aim of the initiative is to develop digital infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for local residents.
