Google has revealed the most popular search queries for 2024.

Google has released a list of the top searches of the year, reflecting user interests. Leading the list are events from the sports world: the Copa America in football, the UEFA Championship 2024, the Cricket World Cup, and matches between the national teams of England and India. Rounding out the top five is the name of the late One Direction member, Liam Payne.

Among films, users most frequently searched for "Inside Out 2." Other popular titles included "Deadpool and Wolverine," "Saltburn," "Beetlejuice 2," and "Dune: Part Two." In the series category, the top shows were "Bambi," "Fallout," "House of the Dragon," "Hermanity," and "Shogun."

The hit song of the year was "Not Like Us" by Kendrick Lamar. Following closely were "APT." by Rosé from Black Pink and Bruno Mars, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by Creepy Nuts, "Thick Of It" by KSI, and "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter.

Among musicians, the most popular included P. Diddy, Usher, Linkin Park, Sabrina Carpenter, and Justin Timberlake. In the actor category, standout names were Katt Williams, Pawan Kalyan, Adam Brody, Ella Purnell, and Hina Khan.

In the gaming industry, the top title was the word puzzle Connections from The New York Times. It was followed by Palworld, Infinite Craft, Sprunki, and Helldivers 2.

In the news category, the presidential elections in the USA took first place. The top five also mentioned extreme heat, Hurricane Milton, Typhoon No. 10 in Japan, and the Olympic Games in Paris.
