Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to reset their recommendation algorithms, according to a report by TechCrunch citing company representatives.
This option is designed for those who are no longer interested in content that previously matched their interests. For instance, a user might have been passionate about recipes but now wishes to see different topics.
The reset of recommendations will apply to the main feed, the Explore page, and the Reels section. As a result, the algorithms will stop considering the user's previous interaction history with accounts.
