Uzbekistan's migration agency has reached an agreement with UK recruiters to increase the quota for seasonal workers.
The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan conducted online negotiations with representatives from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), official operators of the UK's Seasonal Workers Scheme (SWS), alongside participation from the Association of Labour Providers (ALP) and the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA).

The mechanisms for involving citizens of Uzbekistan in seasonal work in the United Kingdom were discussed. Special attention was given to the processes of candidate search and selection, as well as the organization of transparent examination procedures.
As a result of the negotiations, the leadership of the Agency reached an agreement to sign contracts with recruiting operators interested in collaborating with Uzbekistan, as well as to increase the quota for the number of citizens who will be sent to work in the United Kingdom.
