Alibaba Cloud has registered as a VAT payer in Uzbekistan.

As of January 28 of this year, Alibaba Cloud (Singapore) Private Limited, an international company specializing in cloud computing, has registered with the tax.uz system and acquired VAT payer status in Uzbekistan.

According to tax legislation, foreign legal entities providing electronic services in the country are required to pay VAT for services rendered to individuals.

Currently, there are 65 foreign internet companies registered in Uzbekistan that operate in the field of electronic services and fulfill their tax obligations.
