The meeting was attended by representatives from leading French companies, including Societe Generale, VEOLIA, Iveco Bus, EDF International Networks, Eiffage International, SUEZ, Voltalia, Orano, Airbus, Aéroports de Paris, TotalEnergies Renewables Uzbekistan, ALSTOM, Egis, and others. They introduced their companies, shared their work experiences, and discussed potential areas for collaboration. Representatives from major Uzbek companies, ministries, and government agencies also participated in the negotiations.
During the discussions, the parties paid special attention to the following key areas of cooperation:
– Public-private partnership (PPP): enhancing collaboration in infrastructure projects;
– Sustainable economic growth: implementing eco-friendly technologies, improving energy efficiency, and promoting a "green" economy;
– Energy sector: modernization of heating systems, development of hydropower, and enhancement of electricity supply;
– Transport and road construction: reconstruction of airports, development of transport infrastructure, and construction of modern highways;
– Agriculture and water supply: implementation of irrigation projects, effective water resource management, and improvement of drinking water supply systems;
– Support for the private sector: expanding financial instruments for businesses, privatization, and reforming state enterprises.
Furthermore, the parties expressed their intention to actively leverage international experience, implement innovative solutions, and develop modern projects in line with global trends.
As a result of the meeting, participants confirmed their readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation, expand joint initiatives, and continue exchanging views.
