The ZTY case: scammers who deceived 203 victims have received lengthy prison sentences.

Executives from several limited liability companies involved in the import, sale, and charging of electric vehicles from China have taken out loans in the names of hundreds of individuals, embezzling billions of sums. The total damage amounted to 62 billion sums. As part of the criminal case, six individuals were sentenced to long prison terms.

In the Shaykhantahur District Court, a verdict was delivered against employees of "car dealerships" who forged loans for hundreds of citizens and deceived them. Kun.uz reviewed the text of the verdict.

The case involves six defendants: Zakid Togaev, the founder of LLC "Green-Waatt" and "Quwwatt Motors," Nozimjon Aslonov, the manager of "Green-Waatt," Obidkhon Turaev, the head of "Ev Sky," Dilshod Eshonkulov, the founder of several LLCs, Vakhobjon Mukharamkhudjaev, and Sherbek Ozodbekov. The group was led by Zakid Togaev.

The defendants actively promoted their scheme and attracted citizens without official income, promising them shared profits. They offered individuals between $100 and $500, arranging auto loans in their names for amounts ranging from 200 to 300 million sums. The organizers of the scheme took these funds, convincing citizens that the loan would be repaid through the sale of cars imported from China within two months.
