“What needs to be done for our Syrdarya to thrive? Today, when we return home, we should ask our child: ‘So, tell me, what did you learn in school?’ and engage in their upbringing. If we want to live well today and tomorrow, we must adhere to this. We will support those who make an effort. It is essential to back those who take the initiative,” says Turdimov.
He emphasized that neglecting children will lead to problems in the future and highlighted the importance of learning Russian, English, and other foreign languages.
“We will be saved by well-mannered, educated children who know languages. Tomorrow, they will be able to enter any institute, and the best jobs will be theirs… If we don’t focus on educating our children today, we won’t achieve prosperity, and success will elude us… If we act wisely, the highest salaries and best positions will be ours,” added Erkinjon Turdimov.
Earlier, the leader of the ‘Milliy Tiklanish’ party, deputy Alisher Kadyrov sparked intense discussions on social media, stating that “a people who use gas for heating their homes and cooking will not see prosperity.”
Recall that at the end of January, by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Erkinjon Okbutayevich Turdimov was appointed as the acting governor of the Syrdarya region. Prior to this, the region was led by Akmaljon Mahmudaliyev since November 26, 2022, who was removed from his position on January 16, 2024, due to serious shortcomings in attracting investments, developing agriculture, and other areas.
