Farukh Sattarov has been appointed as the head of the National Center for Climate Change.

Farukh Sattarov has been appointed as the director of the National Center for Climate Change in Uzbekistan, according to a statement from the Ministry of Ecology's press service.

Farukh Sattarov was born on July 28, 1986, in the Jizzakh region. He graduated from Tashkent State Technical University (Bachelor's degree) in 2007. He then studied at the Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Business (Master's degree) and completed his education in 2023.

Before his appointment, Farukh Sattarov served as the head of the Department of "Environmental Policy" at the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

Additionally, he has held various positions in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the "Uzstandard" Agency, and other organizations.
