Bo Anderson, the CEO of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain, is concluding his tenure.

During his tenure at the helm of JSC "UzAuto Motors," the company has achieved remarkable results. The plants in the Andijan and Khorezm regions have increased passenger car production volumes, significantly improved product quality, and expanded their model range.

Particularly successful was the year 2023, when the company rolled out 395,400 vehicles from its assembly lines — a 20% increase compared to 2022. It is anticipated that production figures will remain high this year as well.

Thanks to the efforts of the entire team, the automotive industry of Uzbekistan has emerged as a leader among the CIS countries and Central Asia in passenger car production over the past three years. Moreover, the Uzbek market has become the second most significant for the Chevrolet brand on a global scale.

One of the key achievements has been the mass production of two new models — the Chevrolet Tracker (crossover) and Chevrolet Onix (sedan). These projects were made possible by the implementation of the modern GM GEM (Global Emerging Markets) platform.

Production in Uzbekistan encompasses the complete cycle of operations: stamping, welding, painting, and assembly. The UzAuto Motors Powertrain plant in Tashkent is responsible for producing all engines. The localization level of production in the country has exceeded 50%, facilitated by the establishment of key component manufacturing within Uzbekistan.

Financially, the leadership of Bo Anderson has also yielded significant results: during this period, the average net income of the company surpassed 6%.

Additionally, in recent years, JSC "UzAuto Motors" successfully conducted an IPO (initial public offering). This step marked an important milestone in the company's development, largely thanks to the effective work of Mr. Anderson, one of the most respected managers in the global automotive industry.

Bo Anderson emphasized the team's contribution to the overall achievements:
