Akmalhodja Mavlonov, the head of the Customs Committee, has been appointed as the leader of the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

It was noted that during the meeting held at the National Olympic Committee, the prospects for promoting athletics and more effective utilization of existing resources were discussed.

At the extraordinary electoral conference, the vice-chairmen and the general secretary of the federation were elected, and a new charter for the organization was adopted.
