During recent political consultations, the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan signed two agreements.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Rashid Meredov, have signed two documents during their latest political consultations.

Discussions encompassed all areas of cooperation, both bilateral and multilateral. As a result, the parties reached an agreement on a cooperation program for 2025-2026, as well as on the inventory and enhancement of the legal framework.

“Furthermore, we exchanged relevant verbal notes regarding support for each other's candidacies in international organizations,” noted Saidov in his Telegram.

According to him, the schedule for 2025 is expected to be dynamic, with a series of intensive exchanges planned at all levels and in various fields.

It is worth mentioning that Rashid Meredov, who is on a visit to our country, also met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
