The Tashkent administration commented on the tree collapses caused by the snowfall.

"This is due to the increased weight of the crowns from snow and ice, as well as the weakening of the wood structure. All trees in the city are recorded in the Ministry of Ecology's registry and are under the supervision of the city’s environmental management," - said the administration.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the situation in the city remains stable. All utility services are operating in enhanced mode, promptly addressing any inconveniences that arise, emphasized the hokimiat.

Residents are advised to exercise caution outdoors and to be attentive while moving around.
