ICAO has assessed Uzbekistan's advancements in aviation safety.

During the visit, the Director of the European and North Atlantic Bureau of ICAO held separate meetings with the management and staff of Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, Qanot Sharq, and Air Samarkand.

Throughout the discussions, the parties examined future plans, achievements, and current issues regarding the development of the airlines.

Representatives from Centrum Air, Qanot Sharq, and Air Samarkand expressed their intention to undergo IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification in the near future, confirming their commitment to adhering to international safety standards.
