A new president has been elected for the Handball Federation.

A meeting was held at the National Olympic Committee (NOC), during which the election of a new head for the Handball Federation was discussed. This was reported by the NOC press service in a statement.

The candidate for this position was the General Director of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Hero of Uzbekistan Kuvondik Sanokulov.

The Minister of Sports, Adkham Ikramov, spoke highly of Kuvondik Sanokulovich, who had previously served as the chairman of the Swimming Federation for several years.

The delegates unanimously approved the candidacy of K. Sanokulov, and he was elected as the head of the Handball Federation.

During the meeting, the detailed preparation plan for the Uzbekistan Handball Federation for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles was also reviewed.
