According to the forecasts from Uzgidromet, on December 29-30, most regions of the republic are expected to experience rain, with possible transitions to snow in some northern areas. The weather in the Fergana region will remain dry.
In Tashkent, rain is expected intermittently on December 30 and during the night of December 31.
In the first decade of January 2025, air temperatures will likely align with the average values typical for early January: nighttime temperatures are forecasted to range from -3 degrees to +2 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be between +3 and +8 degrees. In the northern part of the republic, nighttime temperatures will be between -3 and -8 degrees, with daytime temperatures ranging from 0 to +5 degrees.
Throughout the remaining days until the end of the month, temperature fluctuations are anticipated: nighttime temperatures may vary from +3-8 degrees to -3-8 degrees, and in the north, down to -10 to -15 degrees. Daytime temperatures will range from +10-15 degrees to -2 to -3 degrees.
Specifically, on January 1, predominantly dry weather is expected across the republic, with only light rain in Tashkent region during the night of December 31 and in the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions on January 1.
During the daytime from December 29 to January 1, temperatures will fluctuate between +7 and +12 degrees, with some areas reaching up to +15 degrees.
Additionally, on January 2, rain is expected in the southern part of the country, and in the afternoon, across the central regions of the republic. Air temperatures are projected to be between +2 and +7 degrees. Wind speeds will be 7-12 m/s, with possible gusts of 13-18 m/s in some areas.
Brief periods of nighttime temperatures dropping to -10 to -12 degrees are not ruled out, and in the north, down to -17 to -20 degrees. Precipitation (rain, snow) is expected on certain days throughout the month.
