As a result, agreements have been reached for the joint implementation of initiatives with a total value of $106 million.
Among the projects planned in Nurafshan are the establishment of a construction materials cluster with an investment volume of $12.5 million, as well as the construction of a factory for producing cosmetic products. Additionally, Chinese partners plan to build a residential complex, a hotel, and a restaurant in the Nurafshon Business City area.
It is expected that these projects will create over 2,000 new jobs.
In the Angren free economic zone, several manufacturing projects involving Chinese capital are also anticipated. The city mayor, Alisher Raimov, held negotiations with investors from the provinces of Hunan, Anhui, Shandong, and Guangdong, resulting in signed memorandums of cooperation with companies Anhui Jinpeng Energy Saving Technology, Infy Power, and Xintay.
Within the framework of the agreements reached, plans are in place to establish the production of furniture, windows and doors, water filters, solar panels, battery systems, and auto parts.
