Hamroh and UNDP in Uzbekistan have signed an agreement to promote women's entrepreneurship.

The company "Hamroh," which supports women in entrepreneurship, has partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan to implement a joint initiative called the "Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Program." The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan serves as the national partner for this project.

The parties have agreed to work in two key areas.

The first is education and professional development. This includes training for women entrepreneurs that covers business management, financial planning, and strategic development. The training program will be based on practical cases and tailored to the actual needs of the participants.

The second area is mentorship and acceleration. Within this framework, participants will receive expert support, including mentorship and acceleration programs that will assist women entrepreneurs in enhancing their professional skills and scaling their businesses.

“We are pleased to collaborate with UNDP, which is renowned for its effective work in supporting sustainable development, gender equality, and empowering women worldwide. I hope that through our joint efforts, we can significantly increase the number of successful women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan and create a more favorable environment for their professional growth and development,” said Dilfuza Nurmatova, CEO of Hamroh.

The UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan, Akiko Fujii, noted: “Women entrepreneurs who receive targeted support do not just build businesses—they transform communities, drive economic growth, and create a more inclusive future. After many years of supporting women in business, UNDP is excited to leverage its international resources and connections in this new partnership initiative.”

Hamroh is a platform designed to support women's entrepreneurship through training, mentorship, financial support, and business acceleration. A unique feature of the company is the provision of free business consulting, which helps women optimize their businesses at different stages of development.

The company aims to inspire women to succeed in business by providing the necessary resources to overcome barriers and achieve outstanding results.
