At a meeting held in Vilnius, the issue of reducing the processing time for work visas for citizens of Uzbekistan was discussed, a process that currently takes over 3 months.
To expedite the migration process, a new service called "QR code" will be introduced for citizens of Uzbekistan wishing to work in Lithuania.
This will allow the Lithuanian side to significantly reduce the time required for issuing work visas.
It is anticipated that a relevant document will be signed to formalize this process.
