Mirziyoyev and the Emir of Kuwait have issued a statement on the advancement of a comprehensive partnership.

Following the negotiations held in the city of Kuwait, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah, signed a joint statement aimed at enhancing the comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

Additionally, a number of bilateral documents have been signed aimed at strengthening cooperation between the countries. Among them are agreements on collaboration in the fields of industry, labor relations, healthcare, arts, and culture. A protocol to the agreement on air communication has also been concluded, outlining the future development of air travel between the states.

Special attention has been given to the implementation of innovative technologies and "smart" cities, which is reflected in the signed agreement on cooperation in this area. A program of events in the tourism sector for 2025-2027 has been approved, which anticipates the active development of the tourism potential of both countries.

Furthermore, an agreement on cooperation with the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development has been signed.
