Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences to Erdogan following the fire at the hotel.

"Expressing deep condolences to the leader and people of our fraternal Turkey, the head of our state wished the families and loved ones of the deceased strength and patience, and for the injured - a swift recovery." - reported the press secretary of the head of state, Sherzod Asadov.

Currently, the number of victims is estimated at 76 people.

The fire occurred at the Kartalkaya ski resort in Bolu province. The blaze started in the restaurant area of a 12-story wooden building. It has been reported that the hotel, which housed 237 people, was filled to 80-90% capacity due to the school holidays.
