A man who recorded an angry video message at a gas station has been arrested and sentenced to 15 days in jail.

A man was found guilty of petty hooliganism after expressing his outrage over the closure of a methane refueling station just as it was his turn. He showcased his worn-out shoes to convey his dissatisfaction towards the employees of the gas station and those responsible for the energy sector.

A video featuring a citizen expressing dissatisfaction with the closure of a gas station after waiting six hours in line has gone viral on social media.

The incident occurred on December 23, 2024, at a gas station owned by LLC "Morotrans," located at 2 Oltyntopgan Street, Tashkent. Following this, citizen Gayrat Dustov was arrested for 15 days.

According to court materials reviewed by Kun.uz, Dustov, in a fit of anger at the time of the gas station's closure, verbally abused the staff and shouted loudly. In court, he expressed remorse for his actions and promised not to repeat such behavior, requesting a leniency in his punishment.

On December 26, Judge Durdona Dadakhanova of the Bektemir District Court for Criminal Cases found Gayrat Dustov guilty under Article 183 of the Administrative Offenses Code (Petty Hooliganism).

He was sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention.

Additionally, Dustov was ordered to pay 15% of the basic calculated value for each day of detention to the special isolation facility for administratively arrested individuals of the Tashkent Internal Affairs Directorate, totaling 843,750 sums.
