At the largest customs posts in Uzbekistan, "red" and "green" corridors for passenger cars and buses may be implemented. This was mentioned during a presentation attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, focused on improving customs operations.

It is noted that due to the expansion of types of processing in the customs territory, the share of exported goods exceeded 1 billion dollars last year.

In light of the expansion of trade and tourism ties with neighboring countries, an increase in the flow of passengers and vehicles across the border is expected to at least double.

To enhance international transport, a system for the preliminary collection of information about bus passengers is planned to be implemented, similar to the system used for airline flights. As a result, buses will be able to cross the border through a simplified procedure, reducing processing time by half.

With the assistance of World Bank experts, the "risk assessment system" will be improved. This system evaluates the reliability of entrepreneurs based on 122 criteria, including financial stability and trade history. Additionally, X-ray images will be analyzed using artificial intelligence, allowing for the automatic detection of hazardous goods.
