On December 24, negotiations took place between the management of JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" and Jin Kang, the project leader from South Korea's Saman Corporation.

During the meeting, the initiation of work on the development of the feasibility study for the railway line was discussed. The project was initiated by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and aims to modernize the country's transportation system.

"The new line will significantly reduce travel time between two major cities, enhance passenger comfort, and improve the quality of transportation services," states the report.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this initiative for strengthening interregional ties, increasing passenger flow, and expanding the number of high-speed train services.

As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to establish a working group to expedite the preparation of the feasibility study.
