Tax revenues in Uzbekistan rose by over 20% in 2024.

By the end of 2024, tax revenues in Uzbekistan increased by over 20%, reaching a total of 199.6 trillion sums. This information was reported by the press service of the Tax Committee.

Tax revenues by type:

  • Profit tax — 52.7 trillion sums (+29.1%)
  • VAT — 39.6 trillion sums (+16.4%)
  • Personal income tax — 35.4 trillion sums (+18.3%)
  • Tax for the use of subsoil resources — 20.2 trillion sums (+31.8%)
  • Excise tax — 17.8 trillion sums (+17.4%)
  • Non-tax revenues — 15 trillion sums (no change)

Additionally, during the reporting period, there was an increase in other tax revenues:

  • Land tax — 8.2 trillion sums (+19.2%)
  • Property tax — 6.8 trillion sums (+33.5%)
  • Turnover tax — 2.8 trillion sums (+17.6%)
  • Water resource usage tax — 1.2 trillion sums (+48.3%)

The Tax Committee noted that in 2024, 64.5 thousand small business entities were restored, and 134.8 thousand new enterprises were established. The "Avtokameral" system enabled voluntary recalculations amounting to 37.9 trillion sums, which helped avoid financial penalties totaling 13.8 trillion sums.

As of today, all invoices and cash receipts are issued electronically, and VAT reporting is automated at 93%. In 2024, turnover through electronic invoices (E-invoices) increased by 17.3% compared to the previous year, and over 1 billion sums worth of receipts were issued through online cash registers.

Additionally, within the framework of social programs, the "Sunny Home" service provided subsidies totaling 11.6 billion sums to 10.2 thousand users, while the "Social Cashback" service enabled 135.7 thousand users to reclaim VAT amounting to 24.6 billion sums.

In 2025, the Tax Committee aims to achieve tax revenues at the level of 224 trillion sums.
