A new call for citizens of Uzbekistan to enlist in compulsory military service has been announced.

In accordance with the document, citizens of conscription age who are not eligible for deferment or exemption from the draft will be called up for compulsory military service in March-April 2025.

Citizens deemed fit for military service (including those with minor limitations) who are not drafted during this conscription period will be enrolled in the mobilization conscription reserve.

According to the president's decree, servicemen who have completed their term of compulsory military service will be discharged into the reserve of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan in March-April 2025.

The oversight of the implementation of the decree is entrusted to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the Secretary of the Security Council under the President, Viktor Mahmudov.
