It includes foreign higher education institutions that have secured positions in the top 1000 of international rankings (Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, Times Higher Education, Academic Ranking of World Universities).
This list was published for the year 2025 and will be updated annually. A total of 3004 universities have made it to the new list.
Diplomas of students who graduate from the top 1000 universities will be recognized in Uzbekistan without exams (nostrification).
As a reminder, on January 22, the British ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE) released the World University Rankings 2025 by Subject. For the first time, three universities from Uzbekistan appeared in this ranking: the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulughbek, and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
