Uzbekistan's first ambassador presented his credentials to the President of Albania.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the inaugural ambassador of Uzbekistan to Albania, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, presented his credentials to the country's president, Bayram Begai.

According to "Dunyo," during the subsequent dialogue, the parties discussed the prospects for developing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Albania. Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, culture, and tourism. They also confirmed their readiness to elevate the relationship to a qualitatively new level.

It is noteworthy that for over a year, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov has also held the position of Uzbekistan's diplomatic representative in Austria. In October 2023, he was also accredited as the official representative of our country in international organizations such as the OSCE, UNDP, UN, CTBTO, IAEA, and other UN structures in Vienna.
