Президент Узбекистана изучил значительные проекты в области транспортной инфраструктуры.

One of the key projects is the construction of modern highways. In particular, with the support of the World Bank, a project for an alternative highway "Tashkent – Andijan" has been developed.

The commissioning of this high-speed road, which spans 314 kilometers, will reduce travel time between the two cities from five to three hours, increase the country's GDP by 2.6%, and decrease the number of road traffic accidents by 40%.

Recently, an international tender was announced for this project, attracting significant interest from leading foreign companies.

During the meeting, proposals for the project were discussed, and instructions were given to the Ministry of Transport regarding the development of alternative highways on other congested routes, improving the convenience and safety of roads, and organizing additional paid services.

Additionally, the President was presented with information about the project for the establishment of a dry port in the Navoi region in collaboration with the Emirati company AD Ports Group.
