The deadline for submitting applications for the sale of the government's stake in UzChasys has been extended.

The State Assets Management Agency (AUGA) has announced an extension for the submission of applications to purchase a 70% stake in UzChasys, a joint venture specializing in the production of automotive lighting fixtures.

UzChasys was established in 2008 in Namangan. The authorized capital amounts to 12.96 billion sums.

Additionally, 30% of the company is owned by the South Korean AMS CO.LTD, which has also expressed its intention to sell its stake under the same conditions as AUHA.

However, the sale of the state share does not obligate AMS CO.LTD to sell its portion, leaving room for the involvement of other investors.
