The productivity of agricultural land will be enhanced.

According to the new regulations, land plots will be offered in electronic auction sales "E-auksion" ranging from 3 to 50 hectares, while preserving their integrity and the existing irrigation system. All individuals and legal entities who are residents of Uzbekistan, including enterprises with foreign investments, will be able to participate in these auctions, regardless of their place of residence, organizational and legal form, or ownership of other land plots.

The auction winner who leases the land, in addition to the standard rights and obligations specified in the Land Code, gains additional opportunities.

Specifically, they acquire the right to lease the land plot for a duration of 49 years, independently determine the crops grown, their varieties and quantities, sublease the leased plot, as well as place agricultural facilities in border zones covering up to 20 acres.
