The Senate approved the concept of state policy in the religious sector.

On February 20, during the fourth plenary session of the Senate, the law "On the Approval of the Concept for Ensuring Citizens' Freedom of Conscience and State Policy in the Religious Sphere" was reviewed . The senators unanimously approved this law.

It is reported that a parliamentary commission is planned to be established for parliamentary oversight of the implementation of the main tasks outlined in this document.

For your information: On January 31 of this year, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis adopted this concept in the first reading, after which it was submitted for public discussion until February 9.

During the discussion of the concept draft, more than 400 comments, suggestions, and recommendations were received from citizens, over 200 of which were positive.

On February 11, at the next plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, this draft law and the concept project were approved in the second and third readings.

The document will come into effect after being signed by the president.
