The Competition and Consumer Protection Committee has imposed a fine on the Texnomart retail chain for violating advertising legislation, according to a statement from the agency's press service.

The committee noted that the statement regarding the "best offer" was not supported by facts.

The Committee's commission decided to impose a fine on Texnomart, requiring the retailer to rectify the identified violations and to avoid similar incidents in the future.
