According to the president's decree, those who work six days a week will have a consecutive five-day break (from December 29 to January 2). Employees who work five days a week will enjoy a six-day holiday (from December 28 to January 2).

The President of Uzbekistan has signed an order titled "On Establishing an Additional Day Off and the Transfer of a Day Off During the New Year Celebrations."
According to the document signed on December 24, for employees with a 5-day workweek, the day off on January 4 (Saturday) is moved to January 2 (Thursday) in 2025. For those with a 6-day workweek, January 2 (Thursday) is declared an additional day off.
Thus:
- December 28, Saturday — a regular workday for those working 6 days, and a day off for those working 5 days.
- December 29, Sunday — a common day off for everyone.
- December 30, Monday — an additional day off for those working 6 days, and the transferred day off from December 14 (Saturday) for those working 5 days.
- December 31, Tuesday — an additional day off for all.
- January 1, Wednesday — an official holiday (New Year).
- January 2, Thursday — an additional day off for those working 6 days, and the transferred day off from January 4 (Saturday) for those working 5 days.
