The first stone of the center's foundation was laid by the head of our state in 2018. Today, its building, designed in the style of ancient architectural monuments, consists of three floors. The traditional dome and facade, a unique blend of national ornaments, give it a special beauty and grandeur. Four portals, each 34 meters high, have been erected on the sides of the complex, with a dome in the center reaching a height of 65 meters.

The heart of the center will be the Quran Hall. Here, the invaluable relic of the Islamic world – the oldest Mushaf of Uthman – will be housed. Copies of the holy book created during the eras of the Samanids, Karakhanids, Khwarezmshahs, Uzbek Khan, Temurids, and other historical dynasties will also be presented, along with their translations into Old Uzbek and rare manuscript copies from around the world.

"This center should become not only a custodian of history but also an intellectual space connecting the past, present, and future, defining the key directions of our development," emphasized Mirziyoyev during his visit.

Within the complex, sections titled "Pre-Islamic Civilizations," "The Era of the First Renaissance," "The Era of the Second Renaissance," "Uzbekistan in the 20th Century," and "New Uzbekistan – New Renaissance" will be organized. The history of these periods will be presented through various artifacts, manuscript sources, photographs, and multimedia technologies.

Particular emphasis is placed on the multifaceted activities of scholars, thinkers, and other prominent ancestors. Specifically, a separate section dedicated to remarkable women of the past – Bibikhanum, Khonzodabegim, Gavharshodbegim, Gulbadan, Nodirabegim, Uvaisi, Anbar Atyn – who patronized sciences and the arts, has been created. This exhibition aims to serve as an inspiring example for contemporary girls.

"The foundation of Islamic civilization and teachings has always been built on science, culture, education, and upbringing. These values are embedded in the foundation of the center we are creating. Its main goal is to unite the millennia-old heritage of Islamic culture associated with our country in one place. Anyone who visits this center will be able to witness the greatness of this history, realize that Islam is primarily a religion of peace, progress, and tolerance, and gain a deeper understanding of the outstanding contributions of the Uzbek people to world civilization," noted the president.

After reviewing the construction progress and the concept of the future exhibition, the president provided specific instructions for the organization of the center's operations, its content, and further improvements.
