In 2024, Tashkent ranks first in Uzbekistan's regions for gross regional product volume.

According to the Statistics Agency, in 2024, Tashkent emerged as the region with the highest gross regional product (GRP) among all areas of Uzbekistan. At current prices, its volume reached an impressive 281.1 trillion sums.

Notably, other regions such as Samarkand (99.9 trillion sums), Fergana (91.3 trillion sums), and Andijan (90.5 trillion sums) also exhibit significant GDP volumes, indicating a high level of economic activity in these areas.

Among the less economically developed regions, Syrdarya stands out with the lowest GDP at 28.0 trillion sums, along with the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 45.7 trillion sums.

These figures reflect the dynamic development of various territories within the country and can serve as a foundation for future economic forecasts and strategies aimed at improving the financial and economic situation across different regions of Uzbekistan.
