Jordan possesses a strong industrial potential, encompassing the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, textile production, as well as the manufacturing of fertilizers and construction materials. The country is also renowned for its reserves of phosphates and potash, the export of which plays a crucial role in the economy. Additionally, the processing and food industries are actively developing.
During the meeting, issues related to the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the business communities of both countries were discussed, including the organization of business visits and joint events, as well as the prospects for increasing industrial cooperation and implementing new investment projects.
As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Jordan. This step opens new opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries and represents an important advancement in the development of a mutually beneficial trade and economic partnership.
