Yusuf Khalavi provided a detailed overview of the current activities of the ICCD, key initiatives, and strategic plans aimed at strengthening economic partnerships among countries in the Islamic world. In turn, the Uzbek side presented information on the investment attractiveness of the republic, its export potential, and the reforms being implemented to foster the development of the entrepreneurial environment.
During the discussions, both parties explored the prospects for increasing bilateral trade volumes, actively promoting the halal industry, and expanding cooperation in the field of Islamic finance.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ICCD, to organize joint business forums and trade missions, as well as to implement programs for experience exchange and skill enhancement for specialists.
