In Uzbekistan, employment contracts can now be signed electronically.
A ban has also been implemented on refusing to hire, terminating, or reducing the salary of an employee due to pregnancy or having children. The relevant law has been approved by the Senate.

During the plenary session of the Senate, a law was reviewed regarding amendments and additions to the Labor Code.
Among the key changes:
- The requirement to include the TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) in the employment contract has been removed.
- Government bodies and organizations are required to independently request the necessary documents for employment, including the use of information systems and inter-agency integration platforms. This rule also applies to part-time employment.
- The possibility of concluding an employment contract in electronic format is established.
- It is clarified that when compensating for unused annual basic and additional leave, as well as for payment during the annual leave period, Sundays will not be counted.
- It is prohibited to refuse employment, terminate, or reduce wages due to pregnancy or the presence of children.
The law has been approved by the senators.
