The regulator reminds users that when registering in mobile applications, a multi-level verification process is required, which includes entering a phone number, a confirmation code, and biometric identification. Linking a bank card to the application is only possible after successfully entering the OTP code sent to the registered phone number.
It is important to note that the phone number entered during registration must match the number associated with the bank card.
New users of mobile applications are reminded that the use of bank cards linked to the application will be restricted for 1 hour after registration.
The Central Bank strongly advises citizens not to share their login and password, as well as one-time confirmation codes, with third parties and not to install malicious files received via messengers. Otherwise, fraudsters may gain access to bank cards and withdraw funds from them.
