Uz-Dong Won Ko will acquire a 98.8% stake in the state-owned company "Avtokomponent."

The Uzbek-Korean joint venture Uz-Dong Won Ko (Best Pipe and Parts) has won the bidding for the purchase of the government stake in the company "Avtokomponent."

The company Uz-Dong Won Ko has proposed a sum of 105 billion soums, which exceeds the estimated value of the asset. The deal was approved by the State Privatization Commission.

According to the terms of the agreement, the buyer is obligated to maintain the company's profile for at least 10 years, adhere to licensing agreements for technical support with a supplier approved by General Motors, and comply with operational requirements for equipment related to GM technologies.

LLC "Avtokomponent" was established in 2010 and specializes in the production of profiles, silencers, exhaust systems, and round pipes for vehicles. The company's charter capital amounts to 969.5 million soums. The privatization process began in August.
